Arvo Antilla

Arvo is listed on the Whiting Football varsity roster from 1929-1931. He graduated in 1932 and went on to play football for the University of Illinois from 1932-1935. He earned second team All Big 10 honors as a tackle. 

In 1940, Arvo became the coach of the Clark Pioneers until 1949. In 1944, he led the Pioneers to a conference title and a #2 state ranking. 

In 1994, Arvo was inducted to the Hammond Hall of Fame.
